The young designers of Bundl have joined forces with Dirk Wynants to develop the Spectra by Umbrosa.This innovative shadow maker boasts a unique geometrical character and is very ergonomic in use. It can simply be adapted to any situation, such as the desired height, the angle of inclination and the very wide, distinct colour range. The minimalistic Spectra design makes no compromises and is the ideal partner for rigid design furniture. The screen is fixed onto an arm, of which the angleof inclination to the pole can easily be altered. This is determined in advance: which angle of inclinationor which position of the screen is most ideal on your terrace or in your garden? The Spectra screen can easily be folded and stored. In this way, your shadow maker can always remaino utside without any problem. All it needs is a protective cover, which is included in the purchase price. Operation of the screen is simple and it rotates 360°.

- SP250 SPECTRA - Width 250 x depth 250 x pale height 260 cm.
- SP300 SPECTRA - Width 300 x depth 300 x pale height 260 cm.
The pole can be anchored to the ground by:
- Support for solid soil - For anchoring the pole on a solid surface (stone, concrete, wood, etc..).
- Inground anchorage - System to anchor the pole to the ground, via concrete plinth.
- Cross base - Cross base complete with cover (85 x 85 x 17 cm). Tiles not included in the price (12 tiles 40 x 40 x 3.8 cm are required).

Dirk Wynants was born on the 9th of may 1964 in Belgium. As a son of a cabinet maker he was introduced to the world of design and processing materials very early. He studied interior architecture and furniture design at the Sint-Lucas Institute in Ghent (B). In 1994 he established Extremis for the realization of his own designs. Later on he also worked closely together with other designers. Extremis soon became a worldwide renowned design collection. His designs already won many awards and so did his company for design management, general management and export. In 2007 the creative team parts from Extremis and goes on as Dirk Wynants Design Works. This way they open up for external design projects. Dirk Wynants is still the full owner and president of the board of directors of Extremis, but he gives priority to designing and art direction. |
