Details

A relaxing armchair with innovative lines and constructive system. A supporting structure made of recyclable plastic material accommodates a soft dress made of different fabrics or leathers. Just a simple gesture to change the dress to Lud'o, giving time by time a completely different image. Not a removable padded, but a wearable padded, characterized by great comfort. An immediate and highly recognizable image makes this armchair an important chapter in the evolution of the contemporary seat.

N.B: The stitching is red for the Eco Nylon version, tone on tone for all other selected fabrics

Patricia Urquiola  

 

Spanish by origin, Patricia Urquiola lives and works in Milan.

She studied Architecture at the Poliytechnic University of Madrid and at the Polytechnic University of Milan, where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni, then working with Vico Magistretti and Piero Lissoni. In 2001 she opened her own studio.

All her works include and express her approach to discipline: a mix of surprise and formalism, of feminine inspiration and strictness, of versatility and functionality. The whole thing is seasoned with an underlying irony, clearly visible in the products that Urquiola creates.

There are trulu countless collaborations with the most representative Italian and international design companies. 

Winners of awards and recognitions, her products are displayed iun the most art and designs museum.
