Gruuve, the new system designed by Patricia Urquiola, is an evolution of the independent seats from the Lowseat system conceived for Moroso in 2000. The design of this new version becomes sturdier, with rounded profiles that reach down to the floor. Gruuve captures the spirit of the 1970s, giving a contemporary twist to the non-conformist idea of a sofa that can be assembled at will. Placed in the centre of the living area to create a unique maze of convivial spaces, Gruuve becomes the star of both domestic and public spaces thanks to its charismatic design. The articulated, yet continuous lines of the sofa feature a traditional seat at the front and a more informal one along the back, encouraging conversation and interaction.
