Ceiling lamp from the AARO collection by DCW Editions, designed by Simon Schmitz. The starting point of the lamp lies in a gesture. The desire to create as smooth a movement as possible. Which immediately led him to the sphere. A sphere like articulation, which gives way to infinite directions. A sphere that has no left, no right, no top, no bottom. As the central element of the lamp, this sphere allows everything else to gravitate around it. Geometry, balance, friction. Everything is based on her. Everything reveals it. AARO is an object that appears to float in the air, rotating around its center piece, like planets in orbit.
