Details

Using the same mesh structure and ecological fiber as Dala furniture, the Dala Lantern were designed to be the perfect complement to any Dedon collection. Each piece is hand-woven using the rich weft of the new and revolutionary ecological fiber Dedon. Aluminium structure and high density polyethylene coating.

NOTE: The DALA M/L lanterns are supplied with a LED holder for DEDON OMBII LED lighting. Candle holder included in the price.

- AJM DALA LANTERN SMALL - Diameter 21 x height 32 cm

NOTE: For the small lantern, use only cylindrical candles with a maximum height of 11 cm and a maximum diameter of 8 cm.

- AJQ DALA LANTERN MEDIUM - Diameter 34 x height 47 cm

NOTE: For the medium lantern, use only cylindrical candles with a maximum height of 22 cm and a maximum diameter of 17 cm.

- AJU DALA LANTERN BIG - Diameter 41 x height 62 cm

Stephen Burks è un viaggiatore e un designer.
Da oltre un decennio, ha dedicato il suo lavoro alla costruzione di un ponte tra tradizioni artigianali autentiche, produzione industriale e design contemporaneo.
Dal 2005 Burks ha consultato con i non profit, tra cui Aid to Artisans, l'iniziativa globale Clinton, la rete di progettazione Africa, l'Artesanias de Colombia e la Conservazione della Natura, unendo l'artigiano, il designer e le marche globali in un triangolo di sviluppo immersivo.
Con il suo studio a New York, Stephen Burks Man Made, Burks ha prodotto prodotti innovativi, mobili, illuminazione e mostre per una vasta gamma di clienti internazionali tra cui B & B Italia, Boffi, Cappellini, Dedar, Dedon, Harry Winston, Missoni, Moroso, Parachilna, Roche Bobois e Swarovski.
Ha esposto presso il Museo di Studio di Harlem e il Museo di Arti e Disegno, oltre a ricevere numerosi riconoscimenti tra cui l'Istituto di Tecnologia Illinois, Premio Alumni Professional Award, il Premio Young Modernist Museum, l'Architektur & Wohnen Audi Mentor Prize e il 2008 Stati Uniti Artisti Architettura & Design Grant Target Fellowship.
Burks è il vincitore del National Design Award Cooper Hewitt del 2015 nel Product Design.
