A chair with a refined and unmistakable shape inspired by 1950s and 1960s design that adds a dash of character and perfectly adjusts to any setting, residential or commercial alike.
Ma Belle, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for the first time in 1994, is the perfect example of how the craft of woodworking can be transposed to an industrial dimension.
It has an organic shape and an extremely lightweight feel, conveyed by a series of sinuous lines that come together in an interplay of large empty spaces.
The armrests connect the back with the front legs, creating a unique design.
Ma Belle is made from solid American walnut wood in four thicknesses: the skillfully shaped backrest is crafted from a single 100 mm thick piece. The slats are joined together, giving life to an X-shaped construction that effortlessly supports the seat.
The padded poplar plywood seat rests on four turned brass spacers that block it and give stability. The bottom part is made from walnut veneer.
